Strategic Milestones:
1- Managing implementation of new Billing/CRM solution in Gulfnet for residential and corporate.
2- Adding new Private Cloud / Public Cloud solution for Gulfnet and for customers
3- Maintain up-to date infrastructure and Applications: With Gulfnet, I had the chance to re-design and reimplement the existing infrastructure and applications to fulfill the international standards as well as to maintain
the high availability and Disaster Recovery setup.
4- Private cloud enhancement and multi-tier setup upgrade: Private cloud is a very critical setup which includes a
lot of production services. It has been a long task to retain the existing services on the private cloud and do the
redundancy for each and every service. We have built up a Multiple Nodes Private Cloud which contains all the
production services in a redundant setup part of them active/active and for low priority services it was built as
Active/Passive.
5- Better Customers Understanding and Engagements: Regular training for the department team to keep the
knowledge up to date which is an important factor for understanding customer’s requirement and better
solution design and implementation.
6- Better cost control and resources utilization: Succeeded to utilize the existing resources to the maximum
although a lot of changes has been implemented across the organization.
